Hewes Registration: August 5th and 6th
SAVE THE DATE! Hewes Middle School Registration for the 2019-20 school year will take place during the week of August 5th. You and your student can come anytime during the window available for their grade. Below are the dates for each grade level:
MONDAY, AUGUST 5th – 7th & 8th Grade (returning students) – 8:30am – 1:00pm
MONDAY, AUGUST 5th – Web Leader Orientation (8th graders) – 1:00pm – 3:00pm
TUESDAY, AUGUST 6th – 6th Grade & New Students – 8:30am – 1:00pm
NOTE: Students in 6th grade and any siblings in 7th or 8th grade must come together on Tuesday, August 6th.
Please complete all online registration prior (which will open in Aeries in July) and bring printed and signed DATA CONFIRMATION SHEET to Registration. You cannot receive your schedule without your DATA CONFIRMATION SHEET!
6th Grade Orientation and Ice Cream Social: Monday, 8/12
All incoming 6th graders are invited to 6th Grade Orientation and Ice Cream Social hosted by the Hewes WEB Leaders. The orientation event will take place on MONDAY, AUGUST 12th from 8:00am to 1:00pm on the Hewes campus. Lunch will be provided!
Orientation will include tours of the campus (where 6th graders will be shown their classes and lockers), information about Hewes Middle School, and fun games to get them acquainted with other 6th graders. Additionally, 6th grade students will be broken into small groups led by 8th grade WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) Leaders. These WEB Leaders will become excellent resources and touchstones for the 6th graders throughout the year.

Hewes 2018-19 PTA Participation Waiver
Students wishing to participate in any PTA-sponsored activity (Highlander Days, dances, etc.) must have their parent/ guardian complete the 2018-19 PTA Participation Waiver online. Please complete one waiver per student for the 2018-2019 school year. This waiver only needs to be completed once annually and covers all PTA-sponsored events for the corresponding school year. Students will not be allowed to participate if this waiver is not complete.
Once completed, your form will be automatically submitted to our records when you click on the “Submit” button. After clicking on “Submit”, a message on your screen will say: “Thank you! Your student’s information has been submitted and recorded.” Please note: No email confirmation will be sent. If you have questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
