The Hewes PTA is happy to announce our ALL grade level dance lineup for the 2019-2020 school year. “DEEP” the first of two, will take place on Friday September 20th from 6:30pm-8pm. ALL students wishing to attend must hold a 2.0 grade average or higher. Students MUST have a completed PTA waiver on file as well (only one is needed for the year) Our next all grade level dance will take place on February 21.

Ticket sales run from September 2-18th. NO tickets will be sold at the door or after 3:30pm on September 18th. Wristband distribution and ticket purchases may be taken care of on campus September 16th-18th at lunch in the quad. After school sales/distribution will also be available Wednesday Until 3:30pm.

Ticket cost is $8.00 for one or $15 for both dances. Food, drinks, and Candy items will be sold at the dance. PLEASE be sure to send your student with CASH. NOTHING WILL BE PRICED OVER $4.

Important Ticket Info: ALL Students attending must have a wristbands. Tickets purchased online or on campus will have students put on a “Guest List”, no physical tickets will be issued. Starting Monday September 16-18 students on the Guest list may come at lunch to have the wristband put on them. Once the wristband is put on it may not be taken off until in the dance! Please make sure your child is aware of this! All
Students who wish to expedite the line must have a wristband placed on them by Wednesday after school. All students without a wristbands will need to go to WILL CALL to be checked in and pick up
their wristband. Tampering of the wristband will result in having to pick up night of dance at WILL CALL.

The Highlander Club Fall Fundraiser is Here!

Our annual Highlander Club Fall Fundraiser has begun for Hewes!  Please consider donating to the school to help us reach our goal of $65,000!

The funds raised through the Highlander Club Fall Fundraiser will be used to enhance every students' academic experience and will also support the current curriculum through funding the activities that create community and positive, memorable experiences for all students.  Our hope is that we will receive donations from every family (in any dollar amount) so that we can help foster a love of learning, increase student engagement and excitement about academic success, and expand interests. The $65,000 fundraising goal for the Highlander Club Fall Fundraiser will allow us to continue the PTA's planned programming for the school year.  Please consider donating to Hewes!

How can you help? You can participate in our annual Fall Fundraiser and dollar-a-day campaign at Hewes by donating a minimum of a dollar-a-day for every day the kids are in school. That equals $180!  A $180 donation automatically gives the family Bronze Highlander Club status.  For families who would like to donate above and beyond, we offer the Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels of the Highlander Club.  All Highlander Club participants in the Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum levels will receive recognition at Hewes if donations are made before the deadline of October 11th. No donation, however, is too small. Any and all donations directly benefit our school and its students.

A donation either by your family, extended family, or friends will Make a Difference in the educational environment and experiences at Hewes Middle School.

Volunteers Needed for the Hewes Student Store

The Hewes PTA is looking for volunteers for the Student Store. It's a super fun way to get a peek at campus life during lunch hours. It's easy and fun to do with a friend!

The Student Store offers basic school supplies, along with some fun Hewes logo items (socks, hats, water bottles, stylus pens). PBIS items (purchased by RRR Card only) will also be available at the Student Store in September.  

The Student Store is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the school year during lunch.

Hewes 2019-20 PTA Participation Waiver

Students wishing to participate in any PTA-sponsored activity (Highlander Days, dances, etc.) must have their parent/ guardian complete the 2019-20 PTA Participation Waiver online. Please complete one waiver per student for the 2019-2020 school year. This waiver only needs to be completed once annually and covers all PTA-sponsored events for the corresponding school year. Students will not be allowed to participate if this waiver is not complete. 

Once completed, your form will be automatically submitted to our records when you click on the “Submit” button. After clicking on “Submit”, a message on your screen will say: “Thank you! Your student’s information has been submitted and recorded.” Please note: No email confirmation will be sent. If you have questions, contact hewespta@gmail.com.
