Please note: Online wristband and coin sales have closed! Wristbands and coins may be purchased at the event. Wristbands are $10 and coins are $1 each. This is a free event for all Hewes students, but in order to play the games, your student must have a wristband.

We are excited to announce our 2nd Annual Highlander Days. Highlander Days is a week-long event where the school breaks up into 4 teams, called Houses (North, South, East, and West) to compete on a variety of different activities. The Highlander activities combine sport, fun and culture in a uniquely Scottish & Hewes style. Each day one house wins a Popsicle party where every student in that house will receive a popsicle.   The overall winning house members will earn an ice cream social! How can your House win? Participate in any and all of the activities available during the week

Operation Warm Wishes Partnership

In addition to the fun activities during Highlander Week, this year we are partnering with a local non-profit organization, Operation Warm Wishes, by collecting items for those in need. Operation Warm Wishes is dedicated to helping and serving the homeless, troubled youths, struggling families, Veterans and senior citizens in need throughout Orange County, CA and the world. They  collect food, clothing, shoes, and toiletries from our community and distribute to those in need daily.

Highlanders can earn a point for their House and help others in need by bringing in an item. What could be better?

Here is a list of items needed:

  • Socks

  • Tooth brushes

  • Snacks (granola bars, shelf-stable snacks.)

  • Small Blanket

  • Bottled Water

  • An Encouraging Note
